I had been wondering when an "Official Tom and Jerry Golden Collection Talkback Thread" would appear. I figured that the set's release date had been held back. Little was I to know that over fifteen pages about the new release would be found inside of this thread. Perhaps this set wasn't deemed diff...

" You're Never Too Young ". Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin star in this comedy, a remake of the Ginger Rogers movie "The Major and The Minor", about a full grown adult who poses as an eleven-year-old in order to get cheaper train fare and ends up in a private school for young children. I wasn't sure if...

That's true if the cartoons were left in SD format at DVD bitrates. In theory the material from any complete Golden Collection could be easily fit onto one blu-ray disc. The trick here is, the cartoons are being released in high definition. Blu-ray's 1080p has roughly 6 times the picture informatio...

Hmmm....I was under the impression that the Blu-Ray format could hold a lot more material. Why, then, are only 50 cartoons being released on this set--even less cartoons (discounting whatever may be on Disc 3) than appear on the Golden Collection sets? On Blu-Ray, you can release a ton more cartoons...

Bugsmer—how can one person be two persons and yet be the same person? FYI, Tom and Thad are separate. I've heard some silly theories around here, but this... Once again, David Gerstein has dug up some rare, one-of-a-kind documents revealing the truth to whatever nasty rumours have been being spread...

Speaking for myself, I've never watching a blu-ray on a non-HD set. Because that would totally and completely defeat the purpose. What sort of ding-dong gets themselves a blu-ray player and watches it on a non HD set? I might. If the next batches of cartoons are going to be in Blu-Ray, and Blu-Ray ...

Der Captain is right about it being uneven and all over the place. I tried watching it once because Shemp is in it, and it's really muddled and hard to follow. People have said great things about this movie and I have no idea why. I watched maybe ten minutes tops. If you're curious, try it out, but ...

Hmmn. It looks like we have a few questions that need to be resolved. Firstly, is Tom leaving or is he just joshing us? Secondly, are Tom and Thad the same person? Thirdly, if the answer to the second question is "yes", are Tom, Thad and Pearl Pureheart the same person?
