Creating more categories is a bad thing for forums. Many people (like me) tend to read only one of them, where the most material is. The more divisions you get, the harder it is to follow everything. (I think that's the underlying problem gloworm points out; dividing forums makes it harder to have a...

The given synopsis is similar to the First Robin, but not identical.

I have had problems with BCDB being able to load at various times. Specifically, I believe it refused to work from my ex-girlfriend's network. I think the problem was ultimately whatever DNS server it was using on the router. I think I changed the router's DNS server ultimately to get around that.

I think the ghost looks like it could be Columbia style.
But the non-theatrical animation studios could have also done this.

Also, you mean "glance"; "glans" is Latin for acorn. Perhaps you should do a google image search and see what pops up for how you spelled it...

Several possibilities have been floated in the big thread. Existing forum: http://www.animationshow.com/forums/index.php?showforum=8 Owner floated the possibility of opening a forum: http://www.intanibase.com/ Also, we could go all retro and retake usenet: http://groups.google.com/group/alt.animatio...

I second Ken Layton's suggestion of the Animation Show: Animation History board as a rally point (at least temporarily). http://www.animationshow.com/forums/index.php?showforum=8 Can anyone confirm the current ease of sign up? I recall it being quick and painless when I signed up however many years ...

That's in keeping with the way things have been; in that 1001 and Phantom Tollbooth both showed up on TCM, and are now seeing release on burn on demand.
We should campaign for more things to be shown on TCM; maybe we'll get more home video releases out of it...

Anybody know what Looney Tunes cartoons came on today at 12:00-1:00 p.m.? My idiotic father canceled my Looney Tunes recording for that time just so that he can watch what he wants, and now I'm really mad at him! If he's visiting your place, yeah, that's adick move. But if he's paying for the...
