The BCDB forum has been on life support for years. If we all went there, we would have the most influence over the place. I think we should. It's where most of us began before toonzone and Beck's forum anyway. For a long time, that forum was the equivalent of this minus. I think it would be neat if...

Ian, it sounds like you're going through the five stages of grief. Homer (though not a GAC cartoon character) will illustrate them for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2iWiuBi48Q&feature=related I think Rugrats explained it better in the classic episode "I Remember Melville." (They didn't expli...

ToonZone seems even worse. From what I saw, 75-80% of the members there don't give a crap about classic or "quality" cartoons.

:coolcat:: Crazy! The Groovie Goolies. My favorite band of them all!

:daffy:: No wonder a lot of people don't like him.

:bugs2:: I'm a bit inclined to say this party is getting out of hand!

:daffy:: Agreed. You thinking what I'm thinking?

:bugs2:: Yeah? ...

:daffy:: CLEEEEEAR OOOOOUT!!!

I know. It's like most of ToonZone's community doesn't give a crap about classic or quality animation, and the Big Cartoon Forum seems rather small and sleepy nowadays.

That's just awful! :( Ever since I joined the GAC forums in December 2008, it's like it has become a second family to me at times. I provided some helpful information and was able to display my vast knowledge on the classic cartoon universe, and I had fun in participating several things (the caption...

Every time I see the word "however" (a word I never use to contrast sentences or parts of a sentence. "But" sounds more natural and quicker to me) with all of the letters capitalized in messages such as yours, I hesitate moving forward. It is more distracting than helpful. OK, I fixed it. Anyways, ...

Hmm, I own the 1992 Walt Disney Classics VHS, and the sound is pretty good. But... the 2002 DVD release (a VHS version came out as well) had the audio sounding rather muffled/warped near the end, starting around after the Queen Moustoria robot breaks down. The music suddenly gets all muffled and bar...

OK, this episode was surprisingly not bad at all to me. I loved that "Don't say..." "What's up Doc?" "You said it." bit, and I loved Daffy and Porky's commentary on the opening credits, AND the big fight between Bugs and Daffy. The Road Runner wasn't that great, as always, but at least they got the ...
