Maybe it was just a coincidence, or maybe it was just the tapes that were printed in Chicago, or maybe the VHS tape you have was printed before the master copy got worn out.

I'd rather answer the original question. I suspect J.L. is correct. Saturday morning network cartoon shows featured the post-1948 Warners, meaning, of course, no Tashlin. I think WB just likes to pretend the pre-48 and post-64 cartoons don't exist, and that all Looney Tunes were drawn in the 1948-1953 Jones style, including characters who never appeared in Jones' cartoons and characters who were created after 1953.
