I've been steadily recording these cartoons off of DirectTV and transferring the unreleased ones to DVD. When I get them into the PC, I undo the 3:2 pulldown, correct the aspect, sometimes correct the levels, xvid encode them, and put them on my file server. My kids love them. I've got a decent coll...

The WB Academy Awards DVD series used an unedited BLITZ WOLF, but the image quality is notably worse. Whaat? I thought the image quality was excellent. Somebody sent me a mpeg rip of one of the cartoons ("Blitz Wolf") and I remember being terribly disappointed, although I cannot for the life of me remember why. It might have been that it was a bad PAL conversion. But it was not an LD copy. "Blitz Wolf" didn't have that cloudy border around the open...
