Comes out the day after Halloween... if I remember correctly, this is the film that includes a short piece of animation featuring Mickey Mouse, followed by a specially animated Silly Symphony?

Yes it did (and your post was made as the Angry Beavers episode was repeating... they ran the block 2 or 3 times last night.) The lineup was Legends of the Hidden Temple/Angry Beavers/Salute Your Shorts/Rugrats.

If that IS the case, what's with the myriad of artciles about how Blu-Ray sales are declining and classic films aren't seeling on Bu-Ray? The only thing we can do now is hope that the Platinum Collection will come to DVD. :( I don't see any reason for them to do that. Most of these cartoons are already on DVD in the Golden Collections.
