Wow. I don't know how long it's been since I've posted here, but I found this thread and felt it necessary to contribute. Although I can see this is a tiny group of Phineas and Ferb fans, it's always nice to see more. I watched the show on and off since it debuted but I didn't really get "into" it u...

Porky Pig cameos in new T-Mobile spot

I don't post here often, but I was so tickled by this I thought I'd mention it: T-Mobile has a clever new campaign I saw for the first time on TV yesterday. The theme is something about that with their low rates, you never have to say "goodbye" and features famous sayings and cliches with "goodbye" ...

I like the covers for these much more than the Paramount covers. The single-color backgrounds remind me of the classic Determined Productions merchandise of the 1960s. Very true to the Peanuts style.

"I also thought that the order of the cartoons was by time. IF so how did the 2 color cartoons get on disk one & two? I expected them at the end is disk 4." Do you have a Region 1 copy, or is this a European release? On the U.S. release, Sindbad is on disk 3 and Ali Baba is on disk 4, where they sh...

Looking at a bit more cartoons, I agree that the DVNR is noticable in some places- for example, in Droopy's Good Deed when Spike waves his hand humorously before putting it up in salute, and in Wags to Riches when Spike is trying to get his finger out of the gun. I was also surprised to discover tha...

I just looked at the first four cartoons on the set, and other than some poor-looking scenes in Dumb-Hounded , the cartoons look pretty nice- and even though they are formulaic, they're still pretty funny. I'll have to see what the DVNRd cartoons look like when I get to them, but right now:droopy: y...

Apparently, the original shorts will be released to DVD later this year. I was reading that the shorts would be restored for Gumby's 50th anniversary. What I'm not sure is if the "lost Gumby tapes" Clokey Productions was doing in conjunction with National Lampoon are still going to be produced. (The...

I believe he is referring to "The William Tell Overture" which various press releases have incorrectly said was made this year. It is listed on the special features listing on the box as a "new 2006 short" and has a 2006 copyright notice at the end, so it's apparently repackaged as a new short here...

Also, did anyone see the Porky's Breakdowns thing yet? I was surpised looking at this that there was more than the final gag we're all familiar with. The full Breakdowns of 1939 reel appeared on another WB DVD, one of the "Tough Guys" collections, I believe. Would I be correct in my assumption that...
