Though going by how the Casper set turned out, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the TV Magoos with "Charlie" are still the redubbed USA Network versions.

I think it was only Technicolor nitrate negatives that MGM sent to George Eastman House in the 1970's. (Though that wouldn't explain the loss of London After Midnight.)

The above quote (which is actually from a disclaimer on the set itself) is in a paragraph about the "un-PC" content in the earlier Tom & Jerry cartoons. Doesn't sound promising...
