I have to admit, it's odd seeing the fat/stout Porky used in a Blanc-voiced Porky cartoon. Especially considering the fact that earlier cartoons like Porky's Super Service and Porky's Badtime Story used the slimmer Porky design. Blanc's voice doesn't fit the fat Porky design at all IMO. Tashlin kep...

Ah, what a lively debate! I believe I will put in my point of view:

I've never seen Fritz the Cat.

I apologise for my lack of knowledge of Goldenage celebrities, but this cartoon can be unusual for one who knows nothing of 1940's celebrities. such as the Edward G Robertson scene or the stuff Cary Grant was saying at the start - these were certainly not the only jokes I didn't understand, but jus...

John is crazy and his followers are low I.Q. white trailer trash. Sure, he's a little crazy. But haven't a lot of great artists been nuts? (OK, maybe John K's not a great artist, but he's extremely talented and very creative). Now, I'm not a "follower" of his work, but I enjoy the Spumco Ren & Stim...

What, don't you ever wake up naked and not remember what happened? Maybe it's just me....

There are so many logic errors, it's not even funny. Just how could Porky have been baked in an oven while underwater? You would think that, when opened, the water would fill up the whole oven. Then there'd be no possibility of a fire, period (let alone dancing flames). Also, why did those worms ha...

Are you sure about that? Benice Hansen was featured in THE THREE STOOGES short, MEN IN BLACK as the nurse with the hiccoughs. The voice is unmistakenly SNIFFLES. These are not the same women. Gay Seabrook, while having a pixie-like voice is not Bernice Hansen. :sniff: I'm as shocked as you are that...

I always thought his first WB cartoon was Picador Porky, as one of Porky's drunk friends.

I've got it on a REALLY cheap DVD of uncopyrighted Christmas cartoons (some of them are actually live action/puppet/creepy stuff). I was a little disappointed, there are Harman-Ising cartoons that are a lot more fun to watch than this one.
