No "US of..."; ONLY the first season. The only extras on there are the interview with Scheimer, an image gallery and interactive jukebox. No other season episodes. That's those other, earlier discs you mentioned. If those three episodes you mentioned are in the FIRST season, then they would be on th...

The "complete" Archie Show DVD is ONLY the first season Archie Show. No Sabrina even. It wasn't the skits and stuff I remembered. Those are the later seasons. I imagine all those later seasons will be released in coming years. "Surprise Package" was a mixture of all the shows. The opening was a rap ...

I think I also once saw the original Mammy with the June FOray Voice. So that would make five variations:
original animation and voice,
new animation and voice
new animation original voice
original animation new voice
original animation, modern (second new) voice.

Problem is everybody rebuffs those Popeyes animated by the unit he was in (Harmon/Fennell) as well!

But anyway, I think you can count his long term partner Hal Sutherland (also credited in those Popeyes) also.

So then the minstrel design was overdoing the lips. That all the more proves they were clown faces. It seems with later clowns like Bozo all they did was change the colors, essentially to a "whiteface" and this perhaps due to the Political Correctness. (I'm only guessing that that might be where mod...

A lot of deep "mental" stuff.
I'd say the guy walking around the party with a lampshade on his head saying "approval" was funny. That's what I remember it most for.

Nick used to play it alot. But CN here; no! I looked for it to be part of a nice "Toon Heads" show (what was there ad slogan? Something about "totally abstract". Stuff like Now Here This as well!) I wondered why they never played it; it was not like it was owned by someone other than Warners or some...

I guess I hadn't heard many of the original Mammy's to compare. Some of them did get through the censorship in the 70's, but in a case like Saturday Evening Puss, for some reason hacked up and the sequences totally rearranged! The dialogue in that one seems to be the same, but the new voice doesn't ...

I think the word you all were looking for is "DRAWL"; not "dialect"! They didn't change the words much; just the accent mostly. I didn't think that was so offensive, and while the overdub job was good, it just isn't the same!
