The vultures are obviously caricatures of the Beatles. Disney actually did want to get the group to voice those characters, but John Lennon refused to do any work for Disney, so that's why it didn't happen. Do you happen to know why Lennon refused to work for Disney? Anyway, I like this movie. I sa...

Watched Back to the Future Part III. My least favorite of the trilogy, but still a very good movie. James Rolfe was right in including this in his "Top Sequels That Aren't as Bad as Everyone Says" video.

The boomerang gag is used in the ending of the Chuck Jones short "Zoom at the Top".:beepbeep: Wow, I must really be misremembering things. I recall seeing the scene from "Zoom at the Top" where Wile E. says "Ouch" once in 1992 or 1993, and then not again until at least 1999 (a few years after I lea...

I watched Meet the Robinsons. It's such a good movie. I can't believe Pixar wasn't involved with it.

One thing I sort of wonder is, would Warner Home Video have released more Yosimite Sam VHS if Sam appeared without Bugs more? The number of spotlight tapes for both Sam and Elmer was two (MGM also released a few additional Elmer videos). Makes me wonder if there would have been more Yosimite Sam vid...

I'm thinking for an "Essential Road Runner" collection, include all the restored Chuck Jones cartoons on disc 1, with a "Road Runner Montage" as a bonus (and I'm referring to the montage from The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie). Disc 2 can include The Adventures of the Road Runner, The Wild Chase, Cha...

You said there are "not good" around. That is good and is around:) Not to argue, but there are quite a few flea markets, Goodwill Stores, and used video stores aroudn where I live, and I don't once ever recall seeing any used laserdiscs at any of these places. It doesn't make much difference to me,...

You know, until a couple of years ago I incorrectly thought that Warner owned all of the animated Dr. Seuss specials (I guess I thought this because they were all broadcast on the Turner Networks at one point), and wondered how Universal could produce the live-action Seuss movies.

I think Elmer Fudd is funnier, and I think there are more Elmer Fudd cartoons I really like than there are Yosimite Sam cartoons (though Elmer's filmography is a lot bigger than Sam's). I'm thinking if Sam did appear in more cartoons without Bugs I might like him more, though I do like Sam's anger.
