Our Own Essential Looney Tunes Collections

Postby LooneyTunerIan » Tue Jul 26, 2011 4:49 pm

Since two Looney Tunes Essential DVDs are known, let's say WB hired us to help out with the Looney Tunes Essential DVD Collection.

What we have to do is think up of many kinds of Looney Tunes Essential DVDs that we can.

They could have something to do with the main Looney Tunes characters, the secondary characters, or maybe cartoon salutes to the animation directors that made the best Looney Tunes cartoons possible

In Disc 1, you have the choice of double dipping LT&MM Cartoons that were released into previous LTGC/LTSS DVDs into the collection and/or add other LT&MM Cartoons that have never been put on DVD before.

To help organize the cartoons use these symbols:

~ = Use this to let others know that this LT&MM cartoon had already been used in a previous DVD collection.

* = Use this to notify that this LT&MM cartoon is brand new to DVD.

In Disc 2, you can add bonus content like bonus theatrical cartoons, specials, TV episodes that features the Looney Tunes, or any other special features that you would like to add. :)

Good luck and have fun!

Here's some examples of possible Looney Tunes Essential DVDs that I came up with:

That would have been an amazing way to start of the LTGC's. They'd start doing chronological collections. They'd start with Bugs, then move on to Daffy (without double-dipping shorts from the Bugs DVD), then to other major characters, and then have some all-star collections.

I'm thinking for an "Essential Road Runner" collection, include all the restored Chuck Jones cartoons on disc 1, with a "Road Runner Montage" as a bonus (and I'm referring to the montage from The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Movie).

Disc 2 can include The Adventures of the Road Runner, The Wild Chase, Chasers on the Rocks, Boulder Wham, Freeze Frame, Soup or Sonic, and Little Go Beep.
