Made New Children's Channel

Postby Paulie J. Waddle » Fri Aug 19, 2011 2:01 pm

Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to the anti-Cartoon Network...
ANIMATION NATION!

Basically the channel is a collaboration of Nick, Cartoon Network, and Disney Channel (pre-stupiding) in a perfect world. Every day will have a special theme and Claymation rendering of the respective host. :D Here's my fantasy schedule, starting with Monday for my introductory post:

Description: Monday is the day to celebrate Cartoon Network! Relive every nook and cranny with Sylvester, Tweety, and Granny as your gracious hosts! Today will also include modern favorites like Adventure Time w/ Finn and Jake and MAD, and throwbacks with classic Cartoon Cartoons and What-A-Cartoon!

6:30 AM-A whole hour of Tom and Jerry shorts

9:30 PM- Sweeps (Live-action programming left over from the merge)

*A TASTE OF ACTION!*
This is a half-hour sneak every Monday and Wednesday (recently pushed to 1:30) for the all-day Sunday action programming marathon. Mainly classic Hanna-Barbera fare of the broadcaster's choice. "Live @ 5" is a block of all-new episodes of modern CN programming, following a similar format to how it's pretty much organized now.

UP NEXT: Tuesday!

(I will accept comments prior to my next posting.)

That reminds me...on paper, I had written about a block called Egghead's which included (restored and unedited) one pre-48, one B/W, and one post-64. I'll have to edit that one.

EDIT: Sweeps has now been pushed back to 9:30

Another sneak at an all-day marathon. This time around, we take a look at Wacky Wacky Wednesdays, starring Ren and Stimpy going about town and showing the world the real meaning of "zany." Fanboy and Chum Chum marks the beginning of "Live @ 5 in CGI," a showcase of CGI-based shows. Tiny Toons and other Warner-based shows used to air on Nick, so that works out.
