Our Own Commentaries on LT/MM cartoons

Postby Cartoonfanatic201 » Sun Aug 28, 2011 11:34 pm

I'm sure we've all seen Commentaries done by Cartoon historians and Animation directors on LT/MM cartoons on the LTGC's but I think it's time for us to do our Own LT/MM audio commentaries and share our opinions and give background info on the cartoons we love. I'll start working on the first one soon.

I've done a couple in the past.

One on All This and Rabbit Stew: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vrhRaIDLzk

Little Go Beep: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q710vSKcMq0 (includes an excerpt of Earl Kress discussing the short)

Goin' to Heaven on a Mule: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08TSltkecwg
This one was more a text-based commentary with jokes making fun of the cartoon, not an actual educational commentary.

Buddy Steps Out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4KjD4yZfqI
Another text-based joke commentary.

Fish Tales: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXBXiZc4BjQ
Again, another text-based joke commentary. Some of the jokes were written by Andrew Gilmore. Unfortunately, I don't remember which jokes were his, and which were mine.

And I've also been doing a commentary for Looney Tunes Back in Action, but i've only got 3 parts done.

I also had done a commentary on "Rabbit Seasoning", discussing why I don't consider this short all that great, but I got so many negatives comments and PMs, that I eventually deleted it.

I assume you'd need a video editing program and a microphone. Personally, I own neither, so I guess that counts me out of this little project.

Andrew Gilmore had a commentary on "Sinkin' in the Bathtub", but it got pulled off, amongst several other videos when YouTube wiped out his account.
