There is one minor thing I've noticed about this set, that I haven't seen others mention. But is anybody slightly bothered by the fact that the inside cover features Franklin, who is not in any of the 1960s specials (though he was introduced in the strip in 1968)?

It is a shame that Warner Bros. doesn't make a deal with the company that publishes The Complete Peanuts series of books for cross-promotion. To inform those wanting all of the specials that they can start to have a complete strip collection, and vice versa.

The odd thing is, WHV has done a sort of cross-promotion with that publisher, Fantagraphics, before--my copy of Popeye Vol. 1 included a comic with a bunch of Segar Popeye strips in it that promotes their line of Popeye/Thimble Theater books.

WHV probably could have made a similar deal for Peanuts.

A small note: I think A Charlie Brown Christmas has recently been censored (if not banned) due to its religious overtone. Although I could be wrong.
