What do you guys think about My Little Pony Friendship is magic?

I know what all of you are about to say, "dude, why do you even bother watching this?". Well. For once its good, your hearing it correctly. My little pony is good. My brother(who I was suprised in finding that he watches it) told me to check it out. And surely enough, its good. No, not good AWESOME.

It doesn't follow the routes of the 80's cartoon, and you got Lauren Faust(Powerpuff girls and Foster's Home) in charge of it. Seeing Lauren's name on the show.. That could explain why Twilight, Pinkie Pie, and Rainbow Dash remind of me of the Powerpuff girls. Lauren must have been inspired by her husband's work.

So what do u guys think of this? I know its a bit late, but there was no topic on the matter.

I think I'm getting a sense of deja vu here.

I'm currently going though a first season marathon with the show (I'm at episode 17 right now), and you know what? Darkblader is right; this is actually a really enjoyable show. Sure, I don't understand why people are treating the show like it cured cancer or anything, but it's surely the Powerpuff Girls/Foster's Home for this generation.

...none of you are going to believe me, right?

I have better ways to waste my time than watch My Little Pony.
If I'm in the mood to watch something below average that offers nothing of substance (but lots of entertainment value), I'll watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38WuwmubURI

Or this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOISHc5TEYY

Wow, everyone should admire your extreme coolness. \m/

Anyway, I never cared for this show, but for little girls, it's OK.
One for the money,
Two for the show,
Three to get ready, and
Four to.... GERONIMO!

I went ahead and watched the first episode of "Friendship is Magic." I've never spent more than 5 minutes watching the originals, but I can say this one doesn't want to make me vomit like the 80s. The "Friendship is Magic" really isn't something I find myself getting into, but I don't think it's all that bad. I really admired the music. Just not my type of thing, but I do think it's a pretty good thing for those of you who like it.

This is something i wish to enjoy more than i can actually. This new My Little Pony have true artistic potentials than the original show does, but i don't longer care to mainstream animation for instead find my appeals to classic movies.

I've been stumped as to why something as cringe-worthy as My Little Pony has generated so much hype. I'll check it out someday, but I'm in no rush.
