The other scene where the adult pig regurgitates the corn had me LMAO!
That one actually made me gag. However, it was also because the print I saw of this on a DVD was so badly faded I thought it was somewhat sepia, and the corn just...ugh....

I also just wandered over to the "Rare Records" page of Jerry Beck's Cartoon Research and I was wondering... when WBHE released this cartoon on LTGC6, did they go back to the original Vitaphone discs or did they use a later sound re-issue print as the source of the digital remastering?

A rather buoyant snippet of "Turkey in the Straw" is very briefly danced to by Bosko just before he gets on the horse cart.
There seems to be a strange animation goof where the cart things that are supposed to attach to the horse dissapear once it starts moving, only to reappear once the horse stops! I wonder why Harman And Ising let the inkers get away with such a blatant error.
On a side note, the horse sequence is great to study individual cel work from. The moving parts consist of at least three cel levels--one for the cart (which is animated in a cycle), Bosko and the horse hairs (which, if you look carefully enough, drift on and off of the horse) and the horse itself.
