Fox refused to air "Toons from the Crypt" on account of the disturbing ending of the final short in the episode-- "Night of the Living Pets"

It is rather morbid--although I find it kind of funny.

And "One Beer" for good measure...

Even better--here's the short on its own.

To be honest--I find it absolutely hillarious--one of my friend's found it to be over the top ridiculous.

Awesome. :bugs2:

Kausler had an interesting tidbit about how they recorded Mel's lines for that short as Blanc was in the hospital at the time so they had to recorded his lines there on a tape recorder and he got $400 for the effort.

I remember seeing this first back in the 90's on a tape that Kino International released that was a compilation of political-based animated shorts that included this in it (I think it opened with "Hell Bent for Election" and it had a couple by Darrell Van Citters as well).

Funny since I do recall watching that episode many times anyway (it was at least driving home the point of alcohol abuse anyway so I don't see it being that bad enough to be banned unless it's the internet making crap up again as usual unless someone from the staff or network had said so).

Forget Gargamel. I always thought he was a pathetic villain.
Season 8 introduced a badass of a villain--who sadly only appeared in two episodes. He at least had a solid motive--he wanted the Smurfs' long life stone--the source of their longitivity.

I introduce Nemesis.

Great print of the Donald & Goofy cartoon "No Sail", featuring a lot of funny Hugh Fraser animation ("it's mine!").

Amazing it doesn't have that glarey 80's telecine look the R1 Disney Treasures disc were stuck with. Don't like the fact though the guy bothered stretching the screen on this vid (or YouTube did).

It's in Spanish, but for those of you who want an idea on how ugly the redrawn "Porky Pig's Feat" is, here you go.

There's also an early 00s Road Runner short in CGI that was made for the Looney Tunes website back in the day.

More of that brown Daffy goodness I don't need!

Funny I don't recall seeing this before, pretty neat for an early effort in translating the characters/action to CG (feels more like a student effort to me, but for what it was at the time, quite OK).
