Sorry, I thought its dreadfulness spoke for itself.

Anyway, on the topic of Road Runner, I'm surprised you bothered with this DVD at all, given that you ranted about it months ago.

I'm surprised too.

Those menus...

Right from the announcement of this thing, I knew it wouldn't be worth it at all.

Yeah, we can only wait to see what the DVD Menus of the Region 1 version of this DVD look like.

The menus for the RR disc are the same as it's UK counterpart.

But since when were DVDs menus the selling points of the DVDs? Al though I stand by what I said about them.

You sure about that?

Let's wait until Region 1 comes out and then we'll take a look at the menus.

Yeah, those are the exact same pics on my main menu of RR and friends.

Greg Method wrote:Good god, those menus are hideous. They look like something someone would whip up on their PC for their DVD-R collection.

Because after all, this was such a rush-release for the studio, right? Maybe this had started life as something for the Warner Archive at this rate.

Jeeze... When I showed pics of the menus MONTHS AGO when the RR set came out here, no-one even bothered to look at them! :'(

Yes. I'm VERY SURE OF IT.

BTW, thanks Toonatic for at least SEEING my menus.

Blob55 wrote:Well, I went out and bought Road Runner and Friends DVD, since it has the exact same content on it, but without the CGI shorts.

First of all, it was about half the price of Supergenius Hijinks according to Amazon.

Now the Main Men- oh dear...

not only does it use GC cover artwork, but also promotional artwork, all mixed together. The Episode Menus also have Tweety and Daffy on them.

Well, there's at least one good thing, and it's that none of the cartoons seem to be in widescreen format, nor is there an option to.

Overall, the cartoons are in great quality and it's up to you if you think waiting for the already-on-DVD CGI shorts are worth the extra $8.
