I've been a member of the GAC Forums for 6 years, and it was fun being a member here. Too bad the forums are being shut down, though...

With that being said, I say: goodbye, farewell, and amen.

Good God no!!! I've been kickin' round here since I was a kid on the BeSeen board!!!! Arrrrggghhh.....well...I understand, really. Just sad to see it go.

I know I've already done my tribute and farewell to GAC Forums, but somehow I don't think anyone will mind my recycling this one ... it's a very slightly re-edited version of my runner-up entry in the 2006 GAC anniversary contest! (If you do spot the edits, you'll win absolutely nothing, but what the hey.)

Emmanuel Cruz, for all his help in cataloguing Cartoon Junction airings on WHSE/WFUT-TV back when.

Just visited Big Cartoon Database Forums. It turns out I only made 7 posts there between December 2003-October 2005. And havent been back since early 2006, yet my membership there is still active..

Cartoon promises may not live up to your 3rd dimensional expectations.

Like everyone else, I'm bummed that the forums are shutting down. I've been a member since 2008, and have learned more about Golden Age animation in the past three years than I have in my entire life, and it's mostly thanks to you guys. Also, if it weren't for this forum, I would never have completed my collection of every Looney Tune and Merrie Melodie ever made. I'm so thankful to have been a part of this website even for three short years. I wish the absolute best to all of you, and keep those classic cartoons alive!
