(Well, somebody had to say it.)
:bugs1: Support your favorite Golden Age Cartoons by purchasing their respective DVDs. If they don't have DVDs, let the studio who currently holds the rights to them know you want to see them on DVD. They may not listen, but you can tell them anyway.:daffy:

[quote="PF9"]well, it came "straight out of the butcher shop". CN really needs to stop this, they're making it seem as if Sylvester was let into bed without a fight.

But of course. We whine so much about getting Looney Tunes back to TV, then we find something ELSE to complain about. It's uncut on the DVD most of us own. Relax.

How amusing. We whine so much about getting Looney Tunes back to TV, then we find something ELSE to complain about. It's uncut on the DVD most of us own. Relax.

Don't worry I have the uncut version on my hard drive

In other words, air the LT cartoons as they were originally released. I appreciate being able to watch them on TV again, but eventually CN needs to stop censoring them.

It may be over for all of you, but I'm still on "Water Water Every Hare".

I always liked the gag of Bugs wiping his mouth after taking a drink of.....

.... water.

Again, to quote Foggy from Crowing Pains with an alteration: "let's bury the hatch-, I say let's bury the hatchet - but not in our cartoons, boy!"

Well, anyway, this is the end for today.

Let's hope CN keeps LT on their schedule for years to come.

No big surprise there. It's always been edited like that. Stupid, but nothing new.

Bugs Bunny's 70th birthday is next year.

And CN needs to celebrate it in the best way ever. By having a Bugs Bunny marathon on the weekend before July 27.

Yeah, I think we should be thankful that Scaredy Cat was one of the only cartoons that was really tampered with (It's quite an odd cartoon with those cuts!)

I liked it- it was interesting seeing the old prints again. It's funny, I used to think nothing of the quality of them back when these were on regularly- but with the DVDs that have come since I really appreciate how good of a job they've done on the restorations. Here's hoping CN gets the restored versions someday.

(I wish I had seen more than half of this- can anyone explain what was wrong with the sound on Nasty Quacks? I didn't get to see it).
