As also mentioned elsewhere above, one notable exception in this marathon was "Scaredy Cat," from which all footage involving guns was excised (thus turning at least one scene into mincemeat, so to speak). :shame:

WB-owned color - 3 (Baby Buggy Bunny, Beanstalk Bunny, Cat Feud)

Cat Feud is the first unscheduled cartoon on the 11 AM hour.

~ - Foghorn Leghorn on cartoon censorship, from "Crowing Pains" (original line altered) ~

In other words, air the LT cartoons as they were originally released. I appreciate being able to watch them on TV again, but eventually CN needs to stop censoring them.

Yeah, I caught that. I was referring to the cartoons they showed today.

I did notice that the Censor of Baby Buggy Bunny, they did a good job of the edit on it, not like it was done years ago via CBS or Syndication ( the local Station near springs when they did show the LT (years before CN/Boomerang/TNT) did a crappy job of the edit of the gun that Finster had.

I was lucky, the Syndication on San Diego's XETV 6 ( before they had Fox/CW afflication) and after they left ABC ( 76 to 86 and still till i hear around 94) ran Unedited cartoons (wb/popeye/Woody/Rockey/Schooby)
in the early AM and after 2 pm, cause i remember watching an unedited baby bottleneck.

I wondering if there be a censor on Buckaroo on Wens, cause in the mid 80's WGN would edit this cartoon when it ran on there Bozo show.

Random notes: Oddly, no special bumpers today like there were yesterday.

Edits: Daffy and the wolf running through "Uncle Tom's Cabin" in "Book Revue". The 'hanging' scene is now gone from "Big House Bunny".
