I guess CN thought that enough people were familiar with Bugs and Daffy by now.
I suppose Hare Ribbin' will have that censored ending. Some things CN just can't allow, I guess.

If you're talking about the director's cut where Bugs shoots the dog in the mouth, that's never been shown on TV. (Personally, I think that ending is a hundred times funnier, but that's just me.)

But even in the theatrical cut, the cartoon ends with a suicide gag. I've never seen "Hare Ribbin'" on TV, actually - how have they edited its ending in the past?

Wow Jon, we thought this out almost at the exact same time!

As much as the late 40s and early 50s are the peak of WB cartoon making, I have a huge softspot for 1938-1943, and therefore, I cannot wait until next week.

Allow me to explain the "Hare Ribbin" situation:

Murder or suicide, last time Cartoon Network aired it, it was cut, and I bet that'll be the print we'll see. From what I remember, after Bugs says "Do you mean it?", it quickly cuts to when the dog lays down in the ground after the suicide scene (you can tell they cut it because they didn't bother to "fix" the soundtrack).

Or, to help out further, the Bob McKimson animation scenes of Bugs handing the gun to the dog and the brief part of the dog falling right after that is cut out. Again, you can't miss it.

The way I remember it, The dog says "I wish I were dead!" and then it just cuts to the dog lying there dead and Bugs putting a little flower on him and swimming away. They completely remove any reference to guns.
